My Photography

My journey into the world of photography began in the untamed imagination of my early youth. As a child growing up in Poland during the communist era, my first encounters with photography were filled with a sense of wonder and yearning. I remember vividly running around our house and yard, a Soviet-made camera in my small hands, pretending to be a photojournalist capturing the essence of my little world. However, the reality of those times meant that actual photography remained a distant dream. Camera film was a luxury, often too expensive and scarce to consider for a young boy’s fancy. Electronics stores, as they are known today, were non-existent. This limitation, however, only served to fuel my fascination.

It wasn’t until 2003, when I had firmly established myself in my professional life, that I was able to turn this childhood fascination into a tangible reality. By then, I had saved enough from three months’ wages to afford my very first camera Nikon F55, an analog marvel with a Nikkor 28-80 lens. This camera was not just a tool; it was the key to unlocking a world I had longed to explore since my youth. It represented a bridge between my childhood dreams and my adult aspirations, a tangible link to a past filled with yearnings and a future ripe with possibilities.

Over the years, my journey in photography has been one of relentless learning and adaptation, following trends yet always seeking to forge my own path. I delved into the complexities of light and shadow, composition and moment, gradually shaping a style that was uniquely mine. This evolution wasn’t just technical; it was deeply personal, reflecting my growth as an artist and as a person. Photography for me became more than just capturing images; it was a way to interpret the world, to tell stories that resonated with depth and authenticity.

Today, my artistic arsenal includes some of the best cameras and lenses the market has to offer. I have established my own studio, dedicated exclusively to stock photography. This studio is more than just a workspace; it is a crucible of creativity where I continuously explore and expand the boundaries of photographic art. In this sanctum, I create for inphotostock.com, a photo bank that I founded. This platform is not just a business venture; it is the culmination of a lifelong dream, a place where my childhood fantasies and my professional achievements converge. It stands as a testament to a journey that began many years ago with a child running around with an unfulfilled camera, dreaming of a world waiting to be captured through his lens.
